Happy New Year!

Today marks the beginning of a new year.  For most of us, that means a "fresh start", whether it's a fresh start for a relationship, taking the next step in life, or deciding to change yourself, almost all of us make resolutions; bidding good riddance to the past year.  My hubby and I have never really set a new year's resolution.  Last night before we went to bed, we decided to write down something we want to work on in 2013 and placed it into a jar.  We decided that every time something good happens to us, or we feel like we've made an accomplishment in regards to our resolutio, or we just have a happy thought, we'll write it down and place it in the jar.  Our goal is to read all of these things next New Years Eve and be able to look back and see what we have accomplished, and to focus on the good things that happened to us and our family.  In time, we hope to include our children in this.  What will this teach my family?  I honestly don't have a clue, but I bet it will be good.
